Which Medications You Should Take?

Allergies

Benadryl is a very commonly used drug that has many perks and downfalls. You will want to talk to your doctor before you consider taking the medication because it might have an interaction with your current medication. Hay fever is not something that you may want to tolerate. You will find that there are a lot of issues that you might have with the drugs and you need to take inconsideration on how the drugs interact with your chemical makeup.

First, you should know that Benadryl is one of the highly recommended medications for hay fever, however, also keep in mind that it has some side effects. Of course, the side effects are a lot different for everyone, but you are more likely to become tired and drowsy when you take the medication. It works quickly, but it could make you fall asleep and without warning. This is not a medication that you will want to take and then go to work. Also, ask your doctor if you need to have your own prescription or if you can just take the over the counter type of Beneadryl. For those who could go into shock, you are going to need something stronger than just a hay fever medication. You are going to have to get a prescription that is much stronger.

Also, you will want to think about when you should take the medication. You may find that Benedryl is needed in night hours because you tend to have allergy attacks at night. That works out perfectly when it comes to the side effects of the medication, however, keep in mind that you are going to want to think about combining some medications. You may want to take a medication in the morning so that you can’t get the side effects, but then at night take a Benedryl. Ask you doctor to see if that is okay before you take matters into your own hands. As for other medications you may want to think about Sudafed and Clarinex, however, some of the other medications you may need to get prescribed to you.

Don’t forget that you are going to want to think about asking your doctor if there are any activities that you will need to change before you take the medications; like you may need to avoid driving or being in the sun, because the medication may have a strange way that it reacts to you.
